NEW BARC CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATIONS FOR 2009

This year we have changed the qualifications and the scoring to give each and every individual driver the chance of winning a trophy. Last year it was brought to our attention that the way we arrived at our results did not make it fair to each class of drivers, and in fact there was next to no way that certain classes would be able to get trophies. It was discussed and a new plan was agreed upon to make it fair to everyone involved.

Volunteers are needed...

The Race Director is looking to fill two volunteer roles at this years races.  The first is a blend line judge to observe if cars leaving the pits or on the track racing, cross the blend line which exists to safely let race cars integrate onto the race track.A judge is needed for both of our race weekends. The second job is needed for our August race is referred to as Results.  This position takes copies of finishing positions from Timing and completes sheets for the Grid Crew showing the order the cars line up in for the next session.

Training is available for both of these roles. If you know of someone who has an interest in the sport this is a great was to ease them into it.  Have them contact Paul Einarson at 416 392 8308
