You will notice as you glance through the web site that the section for the newsletters has disappeared.  It is presently is under construction and should be up shortly.

We have had a number of past members trying to renew their memberships but are signing up under the new member section.  Please if you have been a past member sign up as a renewal membership (it makes life so much easier for you membership secretary.)

Some of you may have noticed that the 2012 Presidents Award was not showen with the other awards when they were announced.  Thats because the winner was not at our BARC Bash and we didn't want him to know until we were able to present it to him in person.

The winner of the 2012 Presidents Award was Ken Graham for his dedication and long standing membership to BARC.  Ken has now been a member of BARC for 50 yrs the longest standing member ever.  Ken took over working on our Facebook page and quickly became a success with a whole lot of people.  We are previlaged to have a member with so much history  thank you Kenny for all your years of hard work.

Ken was presented with the trophy at last nights General Member meeting by Past President Mike McDiarmid.

The 2012 BARC BASH was once again a rousing success.  Sherry Jones our Social Director once again out did herself on the planning of the evening.  Special thanks go out to Bill Robb our MC for the evening, Vic Henderson Sr. for his wonderful video display of volunteers and racers and Vic Henderson Jr. our Disc Jockey for the evening. 

Three of our BARC Members were also award reconginition by CASC this year: 

ANGELA WARD received the Volunteer Award for Grids/Pits/Start.

TOM HYLAND received the Volunteer Award for Registration

BILL ROBB received the Volunteer Award for Stewards/Clerks.

MARLENE RASHLEIGH received the Volunteer Award for Auxilary Race Support  

TEAM CANADA -BRIAN GRAHAM received the Wayne Kelly Memorial 

          Trophy (awarded to the Ontario Regiona Club Member who has brought
